Always on the lookout for natural anti-aging solutions, I found that essential oils work the best for healing and skincare.
If you are like me, then you know what it feels like to battle our aging skin. I wish I could just slow it down or stop it altogether! Since that’s not possible, I’ve found the next best thing: natural anti-aging oils for skincare.
Using these natural ingredients for anti-aging has been a blessing to me. I have lots of problems with rashes on my face, specifically seborrheic dermatitis so 98% of the typical skincare products don’t work for me. In fact, they make my rashes worse.
That’s why I sought out natural solutions for skin. I have 5 of my top anti-aging oils to share with you.
You can easily combine some of these to make your own skincare serum based on what works best for your skin.
Jojoba Oil for Natural Skincare
While everyone was tauting the benefits of coconut oil for skin, I discovered that it irritated my skin rashes. Go figure!
Seeking out other oils for natural skincare, I found Jojoba oil.
It’s extremely hydrating and doesn’t leave my skin all oily. It also has Anti-inflammatory and Anti–microbial properties which work really well for my problem skin. And, it doubles as a moisturizer for my dry hair leaving it silky smooth (just use a tiny bit!)
Here’s the Jojoba oil I use.
Argan Oil for Natural Skincare
Argan oil is one of my favorite natural skincare solutions for anti-aging. I found it quite by accident and glad I did. I was using Moroccan Oil for my hair. It was expensive and after investigating the ingredients, I discovered that it had many ingredients that were not all that natural at all!
So I decided to just use a 100% pure Argan oil and I love it. Again, I use it on my facial skin as well as my hair, getting fabulous results.
Argan oil grows in southerwestern Morocco from the Argan tree. A little bit goes a long way with this oil so a small bottle will last a long time.
With healing, conditioning, and antiaging properties, Argan oil creates the nourished, youthful-looking complexion you’ll love. And it is not greasy.
I use a few drops of Argan oil mixed with essential oils (see below). It moisturizes beautiful and I love it!
Here’s the Argan Oil I use.
Frankincense Essential Oil for Anti-aging Skincare
Back in the day, like 5,000 years ago, Frankincense was the most prized and precious essential oils, with extraordinary health benefits. It still is!
Frankincense essential oils helps to rejuvenate skin and reduce the appearance of imperfections. I use this oil daily as part of my skincare routine.
I just use a few drops of either Jojoba or Argan oil and mix it with a couple of drops of Frankincense. I massage that beautifying combination into my skin.
My rashes don’t flare up at all which I am so thankful for! If you do have skin rashes, always do a patch test first!
Lavender Oil Skincare Uses
Lavender is my go-to oil for sleep and headaches! But it’s also wonderful to soothe skin irritations and reduce the appearance of skin imperfections.
You can mix a couple of drops with your favorite anti-aging skincare oil and massage into your skin. It’s been terrific to help heal my skin and improve it.
Immortelle Anti-Aging Blend
While I love using individual oils, this blend combines the powerful renewing properties of a few essential oils. Immortelle contains Frankincense Resin, Hawaiian Sandalwood, Lavender Flower, Myrrh Resin, Helichrysum Flower, and Rose Flower essential oils.
Throughout history, these rare essential oils have been used to protect and nourish skin. It’s easily absorbed and can be used on your face and neck to help reduce those fine lines and wrinkles.
