Benefits of Yoga for Stress
Do you ever feel stressed? We all know this feeling all too well! It’s no fun and can affect so much of our lives.
When I first started practicing yoga, I mainly did it to compliment my running. But I found the benefits of yoga for stress to be so powerful.
Have you ever felt exhausted from stress? Me too! That’s one of the important ways that yoga is beneficial. I find that it helps calm my mind and blood pressure, while energizing my body.
I enjoy doing Yoga at home while diffusing some lovely essential oils!
Add Yoga to Your Fitness Routine
Want a strong core? Honestly, I hate doing exercises like situps. Yet my core is strong and toned.
Yoga can be a very effective core builder. When you do yoga poses that focus on balance and stability, you are really using your core muscles as you hold each pose. This type of muscle tension can lead to some great abs strength.

Benefits of Yoga Stretching for Relief of Back Pain
I have benefited so much from yoga include relief of back pain. I used to go to the chiropractor every week due to serious lower back pain.
Now I use Yoga stretching instead and it has helped me so much! I sit a lot at a computer and my hamstrings get super tight. That can cause lots of back pain!
When I first start my yoga session, I can barely touch the floor. By the time I am done, I can get hands on the floor – that’s how great the benefits of yoga stretching are!
How Yoga is Beneficial for a Better Night’s Sleep
Pair Yoga with essential oils and a good night’s sleep may be in your future! Yoga actually can increase the melatonin in your body providing a feeling of calm and well-being.
I love it! In addition to using yoga for relaxation, I diffuse essential oils at night to support a good sleep. There’s nothing I love more than floating off to sleepyland!
